One of the hardest parts about attempting to adopt a healthy
(or healthier) lifestyle is finding snack foods to fit your dietary needs. Our
society is constantly on the go and the fast paced demands of everyday life
sometimes make planning our meals and snacks difficult. Fruitwell, a product
produced by Ariel Natural Foods, aims to make healthy snacking a little bit
easier.

Fruitwell snacks aren’t exactly what you’d expect them to
be. They’re freeze dried fruit snacks made without any preservatives,
additives, or extra sugars. They’re all dairy free, gluten free, and kosher
and, best of all, they’re low in calories.

So why would you want to have a healthy freeze dried fruit
snack on hand at all times? There’s a simple reason. Life doesn’t always make
it convenient for us to carry fresh fruits with us all day long. Even if you
take a fresh apple to work you’ll find that after you cut it and carry it back
to your desk you end up getting distracted by the phone or some other task. By
the time you get back to your snack it’s turned brown, mushy, or worse.

The folks at Fruitwell toyed with the idea of simply dehydrating
their fruits but really didn’t like the way it turned out. Besides, in order to
make a great-tasting dehydrated fruit product they found they’d have to add way
to many additives and preservatives. Freeze drying the fruit allowed it to keep
its natural flavor while remaining as healthy as humanly possible.

We had the chance to taste these delicious fruit snacks and
have to agree they’re the best snack food alternative we’ve tasted in a long
time. Who needs greasy, oily potato chips when you can have decadent fruit
slices all day long?

Fruitwell snacks come in mango, pineapple, apple, papaya,
and banana flavors. Each case of 12 bags costs a mere $32 and – yes – you’ll
want the entire case. Once you try one you’ll find it hard to stop snacking!
Visit the Fruitwell pages at Ariel Foods today and try some for yourself.

Developed by Lee and Donnie Thibodeau, Cold River Vodka is
one of the finest spirits available today. Growing up in the heart of Maine’s
potato country, the brothers loved listening to the older men in their lives
talk about turning potatoes into vodka but it wasn’t until much later in life
that those stories turned into something much more – the birth of Maine’s very
own vodka distillery. After partnering with friends Bob Harkins and Chris Dowe
the group set off on a journey to make the finest vodka possible using only ingredients
from Maine.

Cold River Vodka has a distinct reputation in both the
agricultural and spirits-producing industries. The agricultural industry
recognizes the company as one that has found a way to utilize Maine’s local
crops in a productive manner. The spirits industry is simply astounded – as Cold River Vodka is the only distillery in the United States that plants
its own potato crops, produces the vodka, and bottles it all in the same place.

The vodka produced by Cold River Vodka is 100% gluten free.
Every batch is made small and is triple-distilled, ensuring that the end result
is the smoothest and clearest vodka possible – a demanding flavor with just a hint of underlying sweetness.

Sadly, Cold River Vodka isn’t sold all over the country. It
can be found primarily in the New England section of the United States and in a few other states. These include North Carolina, Florida, and Indiana.
If you’re dying to try Cold River Vodka you can contact the company and they’ll help you to locate the nearest retailer or restaurant serving it.

Hunting down a bottle of Cold River Vodka will be worth
every second you spend on the task. We had the opportunity to sample both their
regular and blueberry flavors and have never tasted anything quite as
delicious. Use it to blend your favorite cocktail, let it add flavor to your
favorite dishes, or simply drink it straight. No matter what you do you’re
bound to agree – Cold River Vodka is definitely special.

We love popcorn as much as the next group but every once in a
while we get a craving for something a bit different – something unique or
relatively unheard of. When this happens we find ourselves eying store shelves
and internet websites cautiously – waiting for the next perfect snack to jump
right out at us.

Imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon the gigantic
variety of popcorn seasonings created by Kernel Season’s. Finally – a way to
make our healthy and delicious popcorn experiences even better – without melting
an entire pound of butter!

These incredible popcorn seasonings come in flavors we’ve
never dreamed of putting on our beloved puffy snacks, too. They include:

White Cheddar (a personal favorite),

Butter (classic),

Nacho Cheddar,

Parmesan & Garlic (how sophisticated),

Ranch,

Sour Cream & Onion,

Salt (so simple, so good),

Caramel (without the gooey mess and calories),

Kettle Corn,

Jalapeno (for those who like to spice things up a bit),

Cajun,

Barbeque,

Apple Cinnamon, and

Chocolate Marshmallow

Now, you may be wondering just how you’re going to get these
amazing seasonings to stick to your popcorn. The answer is simple. Instead of
melting fresh butter – which tastes wonderful but isn’t exactly the healthiest
choice- you’re going to spray your snack with a little bit of Popcorn Spritzer.
It’s made with a bland of canola, sunflower, and soybean oils and will give you
popcorn just enough of a coating to allow the seasoning of your choice to
stick.

Kernel Season’s
products can be found online as well as in several major stores such as Kmart,
WalMart, and even Blockbuster Video. Keep your eyes peeled and grab a bottle of
seasoning before you settle in for your next movie night. You won’t be sorry
you gave these incredible popcorn seasonings a try.

For some, a snack that falls into the category of healthy foods simply isn’t enough. Our foods need to be special – produced in the most environmentally friendly manner possible while at the same time giving us both flavor and nutrition. The desire to produce high-quality food like this is exactly the reason why Ambrosial Artisan Foods was born.

We’re not talking about just any kind of food, though. We’re talking about insanely delicious Ambrosial Granola. These granola products are delicious, organic, and are inspired by the free-loving way of life Anastasia Makoulis learned growing up in the Mediterranean. All of the grains, seeds, nuts, and fruits used in Ambrosial Granolas are not only organic but have undergone as little processing as possible in an effort to maintain their integrity and taste.

Ambrosial Artisan Foods specializes in three main products: Organic Athenian Harvest Museli Fiber Boost, Organic Grecian Grove Antioxidant Blend Granola, and Organic Venetian Vineyard Omega-3 Granola.

Museli has long been considered an excellent source of fiber and this delicious blend is no exception. It includes goji berries, apricots, raisins, dates, pumpkin seeds, and hazelnuts – all blended together to create a low-fat, wheat-free, kosher, and vegetarian treat you have no excuse for not enjoying.

The granola blends are amazing as well. The Grecian Grove Antioxidant Blend combines apricots, raisins, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds to create a healthy threat with a distinct and satisfying taste. The Venetian Vineyard Omega-3 Plus Granola incorporates flax seeds, cashews, and walnuts along with a series of spices to create a snack rich with the Omega-3 fatty acids we all need. Both granola products are wheat-free, cholesterol-free, kosher certified, vegetarian approved, and 100% delicious.

Words can’t describe how delicious these particular organic granola treats really are. You’ll have to visit Ambrosial Granola for yourself to find out!

Every holiday my grandmother
used to bring out a block of cream cheese covered in jelly. As a child, I
turned up my nose. As an adult, I’m more than happy to smear the nearest
cracker with her favorite peppered jellies. Next time I have guests in, I’ll add my own
contribution to the table – a gourmet pepper jelly from Brimstone Originals.

The jellies made by
Brimstone Originals are some of the finest you’ll find on the market today.
They’re made with 100% natural ingredients and are completely free of
artificial preservatives and additives. In an era where cooks are scouring nutrition
labels, you’ll be happy to find that all of the jellies made by Brimstone
Originals contain 0 grams of fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 0 MSG, and lower sugar
contents than any of their competitors.

Brimstone Originals has
created a line of jellies you’ll be proud to have in your pantry. The Hot
Pepper Jelly can be easily added to Thai peanut sauce or used as a wing dip
while the Medium Pepper Jelly goes great with cheese and crackers or as a dip
for your favorite coconut shrimp. The Cranberry Pepper Jelly, Pineapple Pepper
Jelly, and Burgundy Wine Pepper Jelly are all delicious additions to your
culinary repertoire as well. The jellies are great on their own and also make
excellent marinades.

Florida natives will find Brimstone Originals in local
stores but the rest of us will have to purchase our favorite jellies online at
the Brimstone Originals website. Those who’d like to start their collections
with all six delicious flavors should take advantage of the Brimstone Originals
Pepper Jelly Promotion. Purchase five jars of jelly (any flavors you want) and
receive a Burgundy Wine Jelly for free.

Brimstone Originals products
are all made in the USA and have a shelf life of up to 4 years – even after
the jar is opened. These gourmet pepper jellies are worth trying out at least
once. We’re pretty sure that once you’ve tasted them you’ll never want to be
without them!

The consumption of food is about more than nutrition and
balance. Food is about experience – a blend of togetherness with great taste to
make memorable moments in life – snapshots you’ll never forget. Creating
delicious foods isn’t a science – it’s an art. That’s exactly how the owners of
Bella Cucina Artful Food feel about each and every product they create.

The idea for Bella Cucina started in the early 1990’s at a café
in Atlanta, Georgia with the same name. The food was so delicious that the
customers often asked for samples to take home and enjoy later – pestos,
appetizers, even condiments. From these experiences, the artisan food business
known as Bella Cucina was born.

Not sure where to start? Try the amazing Panini spreads in
Garden Herb, Kalamata Olive, and Spinach Arthichoke Bruschetta flavors. Looking
for something with a little more bite? Try the Farmhouse Olives, Citrus Fennel
Olives, or Lemon and Garlic Marinated Chickpeas.

The pestos created by Bella Cucina have always been a hit.
Favorite flavors include Mint and Pistachio, Roasted Eggplant, Walnut Sage,
Savory Pumpkin, and Sweet Vidalia Onion. Their collection of flavored oils and vinegars
will complement any cook’s kitchen with aromas ranging from Mediterranean
Tangerine Aromatic Oil to Olio Santo Chili Pepper Oil.

We had the opportunity to sample some of Bella Cucina’s
Aromatic Savory Salts as well as some goodies from one of their delectable
boxes of spreads. Each had an amazing taste with flavors that lingered
pleasantly on the palate.

Anyone who enjoys fine Italian cuisine but doesn’t have time
to create these types of artful creations at home should definitely consider
visiting Bella Cucina Artful Food online. With such a wide variety of appetizers, spreads,
condiments, pastas, and even desserts to choose from we’re sure you’ll have no trouble finding yourself a satisfying treat!

They’re crunchy. They’re salty. They’re the perfect mid-morning, afternoon, evening, or midnight snack. Hey – they’re great at all times of the day. What are they? They’re Twisted Grandma pretzels, of course.

Twisted Grandma pretzels were born in Eveleth, Minnesota where, according to legend, there was one crazy grandma who tried her hardest to do things differently than the rest of the casserole-toting crowd. She dyed her hair blonde, had her toe tattooed, and then created a recipe for snack pretzels that left everyone in her path clamoring for more.

She later passed her famous recipes down to her daughter, who in turn shared them with her own daughter, and a legendary snack was then born. These pretzels aren’t your standard snack fare. They’re buttery, garlicky, and can even be spiced up to hot mild or hot spicy.

The three main flavors are Buttery Garlic Goodness (the original), Twisted Grandma Gets Hot Mild, and Twisted Grandma Gets Hot Spicy. Each are available in 10oz bags with the exception of the addicting Buttery Garlic Goodness, which is available in both 10oz and 16 oz. Not sure which to choose? Try “The Sampler” and get a 10oz bag of each flavor and the 16oz extra of Buttery Garlic Goodness. Keep them for yourself or share them with friends.

These incredible pretzel twists aren’t just a fad. They’ve been hitting lunch boxes, snack tables, and kitchen pantries around the country for quite some time. Taste them once and you’re bound to agree! The pretzels made by this incredibly twisted grandma are simply addictive. The Twisted Grandma site states it clearly and we’re inclined to believe – “You Can’t Resist the Twist!”
